September

Nationals were hosted in Anaheim California, but unfortunately I could not attend because I had a previous engagement to travel in Europe with the Midwest Music Ambassadors. I was luckily available for the CTSO Training in Pierre on the 23rd. It was a lot of fun to finally get in touch with my fellow officers. I’ve been preparing for the coming academic year. I’m ready and waiting for the work load!

October

Last month was a productive one. We had a ton of fun at FLC. The FOCUS team had several activities throughout the day to teach and strengthen leadership skills. We conducted our first meeting together before lunch. Afterward, we broke up into groups for the mini-OLI where we discussed state officer candidacy with local officers and what jobs we perform as officers. Over all, it went well.

November

This month was slow. Cheyann and I Completed our Fundraising Ideas project. They should be sent out soon. Locally, I had a blast at our FBLA Halloween Dance. (pics) Hope you have a good month!

December

For the last month, state officers of all the CTSO organizations were preparing for Legislative Shadow Days. Other than that, we’ve entered our winter hibernation. Have some happy holidays!

It’s time to break out of hibernation! I’ve had tons of snow days and power outages in my area. At the beginning of February we’ll be shadowing our representatives. I’ve selected Senator Tom Nelson. It’ll be great to finally get into the swing of things!
